The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student achievement through high-quality, creative teaching. The position is part-time but may be extended to full-time based on request.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that inspire student learning and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with the year group team and wider teaching staff to support a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure all pupils reach their full potential.
- Support the personal and professional growth of students through pastoral care and guidance.
- Participate in staff development and training opportunities provided by the school and Trust.
- Engage in school events and activities that enhance the learning experience for students.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and attainment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and teaching strategies for Year 5.
- Commitment to student achievement and inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience with early career teachers or mentoring.
- Familiarity with the Accord Multi Academy Trust and its values.
- Experience in leading or supporting professional development initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes.
