The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student achievement through high-quality, creative teaching. The position is part-time but may be extended to full-time based on request.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that inspire student learning and achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with the year group team and wider teaching staff to support a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure all pupils reach their full potential.
  • Support the personal and professional growth of students through pastoral care and guidance.
  • Participate in staff development and training opportunities provided by the school and Trust.
  • Engage in school events and activities that enhance the learning experience for students.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and attainment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and teaching strategies for Year 5.
  • Commitment to student achievement and inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with early career teachers or mentoring.
  • Familiarity with the Accord Multi Academy Trust and its values.
  • Experience in leading or supporting professional development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes.
