The Opportunity:

As a Data and MIS Officer, you will be responsible for organizing, analyzing, and communicating school performance data. You will manage the school’s Management Information System (MIS), ensuring data accuracy and effective use across the institution. This role is essential in supporting decision-making and improving student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the school’s Management Information System (MIS) to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze and interpret school performance data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior and middle leaders to optimize data usage and reporting processes.
  • Ensure seamless data flow from the classroom to the database and from the school to parents.
  • Support the Exams Officer in administering results and data as required.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve data communication and reporting.
  • Provide timely and accurate data insights to support school improvement and student progress.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in managing and analyzing educational data.
  • Strong understanding of Management Information Systems (MIS) and data analysis processes.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior and middle leaders.
  • Experience in education or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

Preferred

  • Experience with educational software and databases.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools.
  • Experience in school administration or data reporting.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted reporting requirements.
