Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Dutch lessons to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
• Teach in small group conversation classes and individual private lessons.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations when required.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Modern Languages Department to enhance the curriculum.
• Support the school’s mission of encouraging curiosity, innovation, and a love of learning.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Participate in professional development and school events as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A strong academic background in Dutch language and culture.
• Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in language instruction.
• Experience teaching students of varying proficiency levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.

Preferred

• Experience teaching in a school setting, particularly in a boarding school.
• Familiarity with GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Proficiency in multiple languages, especially those relevant to the school’s multilingual environment.
• Experience with continuous professional development and training programs.
