Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging Economics lessons aligned with IGCSE and IB curricula.
• Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, providing meaningful feedback.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement.
• Implement differentiated instruction to support the diverse learning needs of students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect and emotional well-being.
• Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in Economics education.
• Communicate regularly with parents to update them on student progress and address concerns.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities related to Economics or other areas of interest.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• University degree in Economics or a related field
• Full secondary teaching qualifications
• Proficiency in English and at least one additional language
• Strong understanding of IGCSE and IB Economics curricula
• Experience teaching Economics at DP level and humanities in KS3 and KS4

Preferred

• Previous teaching experience in IGCSE and/or IB DP Economics
• Ability to teach Geography and/or History in the Middle School
• Experience in developing and delivering innovative lessons
