Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons to students aged 11 to 16.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that supports diverse learning needs and prepares students for GCSE.
- Coach and motivate colleagues to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Promote a culture of excellence and innovation in teaching and learning.
- Work collaboratively with other faculty members to support student achievement and development.
- Contribute to the school’s leadership programme and character development initiatives.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure high standards of attainment.
- Support the school’s mission to inspire future leaders through extracurricular and enrichment activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience of teaching to GCSE standard.
- The ability to coach and motivate colleagues to achieve targets.
- Proven experience in delivering outstanding attainment and achievement.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and engage learners effectively.
Preferred
- Experience in middle leadership or a desire to progress into a leadership role.
- Experience of working in a school with a leadership specialism.
- Strong organisational and motivational skills.
- Experience in a disadvantaged community setting.
