The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels, following the British national curriculum.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote student learning and development.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of cross-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Support the pastoral care system and contribute to the overall well-being of students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Recent experience of teaching within the British national curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Valid EU passport or a full French work permit.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school setting.
  • Familiarity with teaching English as a second language.
  • Experience with digital learning tools and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the wider life of the school.
