The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver comprehensive English language lessons covering speaking, writing, and comprehension.
• Prepare and organize course materials, including Google Classroom lesson plans and homework.
• Track and evaluate student progress through assessments, reports, and individualized learning plans.
• Create and implement rubrics for student evaluations and maintain accurate gradebook records.
• Plan and lead extracurricular activities, school trips, and events such as Christmas Shows.
• Collaborate with colleagues during departmental meetings and staff gatherings.
• Support students with special needs by developing tailored learning strategies.
• Assist with covering absences and provide backup support for other teachers when needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A degree in a language-focused field and an ESL or TESOL certification.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Basic proficiency in Google Suites for administrative tasks and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, resilience, and the ability to work flexibly with students and colleagues.

Preferred

• Fluency in Russian.
• Experience with event planning and student engagement activities.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
