The Opportunity:

We are seeking dedicated Exam Invigilators to support our examination process throughout the academic year. This role involves ensuring the smooth and fair administration of exams, including mock exams, internal tests, and GCSE finals. It is a casual position offering flexible hours with competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invigilate exams under the supervision of the Examinations Coordinator.
• Follow detailed instructions to ensure compliance with examination procedures.
• Maintain a professional and calm demeanor in exam environments.
• Report any irregularities or concerns during exams promptly.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of exam rooms as required.
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on examination policies and procedures.
• Support ad hoc exams throughout the year as needed.
• Complete and submit Academy Claim Forms for all hours worked.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of responsibility.
• Willingness to work during exam periods, including evenings and weekends.
• Availability during key exam seasons such as November, February, and May/June.

Preferred

• Previous experience in an educational or administrative role.
• Experience in exam invigilation or similar roles.
• Familiarity with school policies and procedures.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly rate of £12.65 plus £1.53 holiday pay entitlement.
• Casual contract with flexible working hours.
• Full training provided for all roles.
