The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of assessments and supporting the smooth running of examinations. This is an essential position that contributes directly to the academic success of students and the overall effectiveness of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee examinations to ensure they are conducted in a fair and secure environment.
  • Support the Examinations and Assessment Officer in tracking and managing key assessment data accurately.
  • Provide administrative and data support to students and staff across the academy.
  • Assist in the management of all examination-related processes, including preparation, invigilation, and post-exam procedures.
  • Collaborate with Business Services to ensure accurate data management and administrative support.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and senior leadership to maintain a smooth and efficient examination process.
  • Ensure compliance with all examination regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist in the organization and management of external examinations and assessments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of exam integrity and security.

Preferred

  • Experience with SIMS or similar school management systems.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting, particularly in an exam-related role.
  • Understanding of assessment and examination procedures.
  • Experience in a school or academy environment.
