Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the EYFS statutory framework through continuous provision.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for young children.
• Assess student progress and ensure clear understanding of EYFS outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the development of the Early Years curriculum.
• Work closely with Learning Support Practitioners to provide tailored support for all students.
• Encourage creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning in every child.
• Maintain accurate records and report on student progress regularly.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A good bachelor’s degree and PGCE qualification from a reputable UK university.
• Experience of teaching the EYFS statutory framework through Continuous Provision.
• Secure understanding of EYFS assessment and outcomes.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues.

Preferred

• Experience with UK Early Years curricula and teaching methodologies.
• Experience with programs such as Talk 4 Writing and Read-Write-Inc.
• Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Newly qualified teachers (ECTs) with a strong desire to develop their career.
