Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons that engage and challenge students
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes practical skills and theoretical knowledge
  • Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant Food Technology experience
  • Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
  • Enhanced DBS (with list checks) certificate
  • Experience working with students aged 14–19 years

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Health & Social Care or Childcare Level 2
  • Familiarity with alternative provision and innovative teaching methods
  • Ability to contribute to a student-driven, personalised learning approach
