The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Develop and implement engaging, practical and curriculum-focused teaching strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Food Technology curriculum and student experience.
- Participate actively in the wider life of the school, including community engagement and school events.
- Support the school’s mission to 'awaken minds', 'achieve dreams', and 'serve others'.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Food Technology experience.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to the school’s values and mission.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) or working with diverse student groups.
- Leadership experience or interest in school-wide leadership opportunities.

- Competitive salary range of £32,916 - £51,048.
