Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to Key Stages 3 and 4 with a focus on student achievement and engagement.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Support the school’s mission by participating in wider school and community activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively to ensure outstanding outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of the Mathematics department and curriculum.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and school improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s Catholic mission and values.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching in a Catholic school or academy.
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Experience with curriculum development or assessment strategies.
