Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to Key Stages 3 and 4 with a focus on student achievement and engagement.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
- Support the school’s mission by participating in wider school and community activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress effectively to ensure outstanding outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of the Mathematics department and curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students.
- Engage in continuous professional development and school improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to the school’s Catholic mission and values.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching in a Catholic school or academy.
- Experience with safeguarding and child protection.
- Leadership or mentoring experience.
- Experience with curriculum development or assessment strategies.
