Key Responsibilities:

• Teach French to A-level and Spanish at KS2 and KS3.
• Develop and deliver engaging, interactive lessons in French and Spanish.
• Create comprehensive lesson plans and contribute to curriculum development.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support departmental goals and student outcomes.
• Promote the school’s values and ethos through teaching and pastoral care.
• Support students in developing language skills for academic and global success.
• Stay up to date with current teaching methodologies and educational trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A certified teaching qualification such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent from a UK university.
• Experience teaching French and Spanish in a British curriculum or IB setting.
• Strong lesson planning and curriculum development skills.
• Fluency in French and ability to teach French to A-Level / IBDP.
• High motivation for teaching and a sense of humour.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience teaching Spanish at KS3.
• Proven experience teaching in the UK.
• Experience or interest in teaching primary MFL.
