The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to inspire and educate students in Years 5 to 8. This role offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning community, while delivering high-quality science education that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging science lessons across Years 5–8.
  • Develop comprehensive lesson plans and contribute to curriculum design.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A certified teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent from a UK University.
  • Experience teaching Science in a British curriculum setting.
  • Strong lesson planning and curriculum development skills.
  • High motivation for teaching with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Proven experience teaching in the UK.
  • A strong commitment to outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Recent UK or international school experience.
  • Child protection training.
