The Opportunity:

Join a vibrant Modern Languages Department as a French Teacher Assistant, providing in-class support and one-to-one coaching to students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support French teachers in delivering high-quality instruction and engaging lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one conversation and coaching sessions to enhance students’ language skills.
  • Assist with lesson planning, resource development, and classroom management.
  • Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and provide targeted support.
  • Contribute to the development of the Modern Languages curriculum.
  • Engage with students in a friendly and encouraging manner.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Native French speaker or bilingual specialist with strong language skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to support students in language learning.
  • Commitment to education and a willingness to work in a high-performing academic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work within the school’s term-time schedule.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching or education support.
  • Background in Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Familiarity with UK education systems or international teaching experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
