Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality French lessons to junior school students, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences.
• Plan and assess lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly, setting clear targets for improvement.
• Participate in peer observations and professional development to enhance teaching practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student work, assessments, and progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents through informative reports and updates.
• Collaborate with the Inclusion Team and Head of School to support students with special needs or concerns.
• Contribute to the school’s enrichment programme through extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor of Education or PGCE with a relevant specialism, or a relevant degree plus a PGCE in Primary Education.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification teaching experience.
• Experience teaching in a UK-based or international school following the British curriculum.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with teaching French in a junior school setting.
• Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and international assessment frameworks.
• Ability to contribute to a vibrant extracurricular programme.
