Key Responsibilities:

• Teach German and French to secondary students in accordance with the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate curricula.
• Develop and deliver engaging, culturally rich lessons that promote language proficiency and international-mindedness.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive, interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning.
• Support students in achieving academic success through individualised instruction and feedback.
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to enhance teaching practices.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing clear and constructive feedback.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Education, German, French, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
• Strong proficiency in both German and French, with the ability to teach at an advanced level.
• Experience with the IB or Swiss Baccalaureate curriculum.
• Commitment to fostering a multicultural and inclusive learning environment.

Preferred

• Experience in a bilingual or international school setting.
• Familiarity with technology-enhanced teaching and learning.
• Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
• Experience with STEAM education or interdisciplinary teaching approaches.
