The Opportunity:

An Arabic Teacher is sought to deliver high-quality instruction across the Senior School and Sixth Form, supporting the IB programme. The role offers the chance to inspire students and contribute to the development of Arabic education in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Arabic lessons to students across all age groups.
• Support the IB Middle Years and IB Diploma programmes with expertise and enthusiasm.
• Lead and motivate students to achieve academic excellence in Arabic.
• Contribute to the broader development of Arabic teaching and learning across the school.
• Participate in pastoral care, including form tutoring or co-tutoring responsibilities.
• Engage in the school’s extra-curricular activities and community life.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistently high academic standards.
• Support the school’s mission of fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a strong background in Arabic education.
• Experience teaching Arabic B and the ability to teach Arabic A.
• Demonstrable experience in teaching across a range of age groups.
• Commitment to academic excellence and student motivation.
• Familiarity with the IB curriculum is an advantage.

Preferred

• Previous experience with the IB Middle Years or IB Diploma programme.
• Leadership experience in academic or pastoral settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
