The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and inspiring Further Mathematics and A Level Mathematics Teacher to join its Mathematics Faculty. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Further Mathematics and A Level Mathematics lessons that challenge and inspire students.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that support diverse learning needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress using data to inform targeted support and challenge.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall Mathematics curriculum and student outcomes.
• Contribute to the wider curriculum by teaching other science subjects at KS3 and/or KS4.
• Support the pastoral care and wellbeing of students within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
• Participate in professional learning and development to ensure continuous improvement in teaching practice.
• Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A good honours degree and a QTS or PGCE teaching qualification, preferably from the UK.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in teaching Further Mathematics and A Level Mathematics.
• Ability to provide an ICPC and a UK enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.
• Strong commitment to student wellbeing and pastoral care.
• Willingness to teach Mathematics through to A Level and other science subjects at KS3 and/or KS4.

Preferred

• Experience in a British curriculum school or international school setting.
• Demonstrated success in raising student achievement and engagement.
• Experience with teaching and learning strategies that promote inclusivity and diversity.
• Proactive involvement in extra-curricular activities and school events.
