The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate MYP Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic and successful department. This role offers the chance to inspire a love of learning and contribute to a school known for its high standards and commitment to the IB Learner Profile. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the IB MYP framework.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and student success.
• Continuously improve teaching practices through collaboration with colleagues and participation in professional development.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Mathematics curriculum.
• Support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning skills.
• Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and curriculum development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent, with a specialism in Mathematics.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Secondary Mathematics.
• Strong understanding of the IB MYP framework and Approaches to Teaching.
• Alignment with the IB philosophy and commitment to the Learner Profile values.
• Availability from August 2026.

Preferred

• Experience teaching the IB Middle Years Programme and/or Diploma Programme.
• Advanced qualifications in Mathematics or Education.
• Experience working in an international, culturally diverse school environment.
• Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes and engagement in Mathematics.
