Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote deep understanding and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor and assess student progress using data to inform planning and support individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider curriculum and support the school’s vision and values.
- Participate in the pastoral care of students and contribute to their overall development and wellbeing.
- Engage in continuous professional development and share best practices with the teaching team.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
- Contribute to the vibrant extra-curricular life of the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A good honours degree.
- QTS or PGCE teaching qualification, preferably from the UK.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in teaching Mathematics.
- Strong commitment to student wellbeing and pastoral care.
- Ability to teach Mathematics through to A Level.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching other science subjects to Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4.
- Experience with data-driven teaching and learning strategies.
- Experience in a British curriculum school or international school setting.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
