The Opportunity:

As a Teacher of Mathematics (Secondary), you will play a key role in delivering a rigorous and engaging curriculum that inspires students to excel in mathematics. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with a focus on foundational skills and advanced problem-solving.
• Support students in achieving excellent academic results, with a track record of 100% of students achieving Grade 4 or higher in IGCSE Mathematics.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the school’s enrichment programme, including clubs, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the department.
• Utilise modern, interactive teaching resources and technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Provide pastoral care and support to students, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in the school’s commitment to professional development, continuous improvement, and community engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A relevant degree and teaching qualification
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in Mathematics
• Experience teaching Mathematics in the UK or an international setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to the school’s values and ethos

Preferred

• Experience teaching both Pure and Applied Mathematics at A Level
• Experience delivering or the capacity to teach Further Mathematics
• Familiarity with the Edexcel IGCSE and A-level Mathematics syllabi
