Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student learning and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extra-curricular and super-curricular activities related to Geography.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Support students in developing a deep understanding of geographical concepts and their real-world applications.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Geography or a related subject.
  • Experience in teaching Geography at the appropriate level.
  • Commitment to providing a high-quality, student-centered education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in delivering extra-curricular and super-curricular Geography activities.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovative teaching methods.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and resources.
