The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join an established and effective team. The role offers the chance to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5, and to be part of a collaborative and innovative department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 with opportunities for Key Stage 5.
• Deliver high-quality lessons using well-resourced schemes of work.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of departmental schemes of work and lessons.
• Support students in achieving their full potential through effective teaching and pastoral care.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
• Participate in departmental and school-wide initiatives, including fieldtrips and extra-curricular activities.
• Build strong, effective relationships with students and staff to foster a positive and inclusive school environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Geography.
• Experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience with fieldwork and outdoor learning.
• Experience with Key Stage 5 teaching.
• Experience with curriculum development and resource creation.
• Familiarity with international and national fieldtrip planning.
