The Opportunity:

As a Technology Lead with a specialism in Automation and AI, you will be responsible for driving innovation in digital tools and AI-assisted workflows across the school. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leveraging technology to support teaching and learning, and who enjoys working collaboratively with staff to solve complex problems and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation and AI solutions to streamline school operations and improve student outcomes.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff across teaching and administrative teams.
  • Ensure that digital systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with the school’s strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for technological enhancement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of digital tools on teaching and learning.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends in AI and automation to support continuous improvement.
  • Work with external vendors and internal teams to integrate new technologies.
  • Maintain documentation and provide guidance on best practices for digital processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in automation and AI technologies.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in digital tools and data processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to provide training and support to non-technical staff.
  • Experience working in an educational setting or similar environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience with AI-assisted workflows in education.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems and educational software.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Experience in leading or managing technology projects.
  • Understanding of educational outcomes and curriculum support.
