The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students from Key Stage 3 through to A Level.
- Develop innovative and engaging teaching strategies that reflect the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
- Support the pastoral care and wellbeing of students, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider curriculum by teaching other science subjects to Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4 where required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities to ensure the highest standards of teaching.
- Play an active role in the safeguarding and welfare of students.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and contribute to the school’s vibrant community life.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A good honours degree.
- A QTS or PGCE teaching qualification, preferably from the UK.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in teaching.
- Ability to provide an ICPC and a UK enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Commitment to the school’s vision, values, and purpose.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Geography through to A Level.
- Experience in teaching other science subjects to Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to pastoral care and student wellbeing.
- Demonstrated ability to support the academic and personal development of students.
