The Opportunity:
A Geography Teacher (Part-Time) is sought to inspire students across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for additional hours if the candidate can also teach Religious Studies or History. This role allows for a meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A level.
- Foster a love of Geography through engaging, creative, and student-centered teaching methods.
- Collaborate with the department to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum.
- Contribute to a vibrant co-curricular programme that enhances student learning and engagement.
- Support the school’s ethos of confidence, exploration, and holistic development.
- Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training opportunities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher status with strong expertise in Geography.
- Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4.
- A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning.
- Commitment to the school’s ethos of confidence, exploration, and holistic development.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Religious Studies or History at KS3 or KS4.
- Ability to teach A level Geography.
- Experience in a co-curricular or extracurricular programme.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
