The Opportunity:

A Geography Teacher (Part-Time) is sought to inspire students across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for additional hours if the candidate can also teach Religious Studies or History. This role allows for a meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A level.
  • Foster a love of Geography through engaging, creative, and student-centered teaching methods.
  • Collaborate with the department to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum.
  • Contribute to a vibrant co-curricular programme that enhances student learning and engagement.
  • Support the school’s ethos of confidence, exploration, and holistic development.
  • Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in professional development and ongoing training opportunities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher status with strong expertise in Geography.
  • Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4.
  • A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to the school’s ethos of confidence, exploration, and holistic development.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Religious Studies or History at KS3 or KS4.
  • Ability to teach A level Geography.
  • Experience in a co-curricular or extracurricular programme.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
