Actual Salary £32,000 per annum, term time only (plus one week). The full time equivalent of which is £41,496 per annum.

The Opportunity:

A Golf Coach is sought to lead and develop the school’s expanding golf programme, supporting both Prep and Upper School students across all levels of participation. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-performing and growing sport programme with access to top-tier facilities and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality coaching across Prep and Upper School golf programmes
  • Conduct individual and small-group simulator coaching sessions
  • Support pupils across performance, development, and recreational pathways
  • Assist with fixtures, competitions, tours, and residential events
  • Oversee long-term player development and Prep-to-Upper School pathways
  • Support recruitment events, taster sessions, and admissions activities
  • Ensure effective operation and utilisation of the school’s golf simulator facilities
  • Provide structured evening, Sunday, and holiday simulator provision

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Hold a PGA qualification or equivalent nationally recognised golf coaching qualification
  • Experience coaching and developing junior golfers across a range of ages and abilities
  • Experience using TrackMan or golf simulator technology
  • Ability to communicate confidently and work effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to build positive professional relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Demonstrate high levels of professionalism, enthusiasm, and energy
  • Commitment to contributing positively to the culture and profile of golf at the school

Preferred

  • Experience within a school or academy environment
  • Experience coaching elite junior golfers
  • Experience delivering camps or outreach activities
