The Opportunity:

As the Head of House (Boarding), you will be responsible for overseeing the welfare, discipline, and pastoral care of boarding students. This is a key role that ensures students thrive academically and personally in a safe and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily boarding operations and ensure the smooth running of the house community
  • Support students’ wellbeing and provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
  • Liaise with parents, staff, and external stakeholders to maintain open lines of communication
  • Promote positive behavior and foster a culture of respect and responsibility
  • Organize and lead extracurricular activities that enrich student life and encourage community engagement
  • Maintain high standards of care, discipline, and pastoral support
  • Monitor and report on student progress and welfare on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with academic staff to support the holistic development of students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor Degree from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in boarding supervision or related pastoral roles
  • Strong understanding of international curricula and student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a warm residential atmosphere

Preferred

  • Experience with conflict resolution in a culturally diverse environment
  • Organizational skills for managing schedules, records, and events
  • Experience in an international school or boarding setting
