Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the school's overall direction, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and student outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance academic achievement and pastoral care across all year groups.
  • Work closely with the governing body and senior leadership team to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Foster a positive school culture that promotes inclusivity, diversity, and student well-being.
  • Ensure the school maintains and exceeds its high standards in teaching, learning, and leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, the local community, and external partners.
  • Oversee the management of the school’s resources, including staffing, budget, and facilities.
  • Promote the school's values and mission through effective leadership and communication.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a large secondary school setting.
  • Strong track record in improving student outcomes and school performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of educational policies, curriculum development, and school management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
  • Experience in working with a multi-academy trust and collaborative leadership structures.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a school with a strong Ofsted rating.
  • Background in pastoral care and inclusion strategies.
  • Experience in managing large teams and driving school-wide improvement initiatives.
