Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the secondary school department, ensuring academic excellence and student success.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the school’s mission and educational goals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that supports both staff and students.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive school-wide initiatives and improvements.
  • Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with international standards.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, students, and the wider community.
  • Monitor and evaluate teaching performance and student outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant educational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong academic background in education or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in improving student achievement and school performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of international curricula, including IGCSE and A Level.

Preferred

  • Experience in a British international school environment.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum for England and Wales.
  • Knowledge of Arabic language and Algerian culture.
  • Experience in leading school expansion or growth initiatives.
