The Opportunity:

As the Head of Sports, you will lead and develop a high-performance competitive sports programme that aligns with the school’s identity and vision. This is a dynamic leadership role with the opportunity to shape the future of school sport in a rapidly growing international institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all competitive team sports fixtures and events
• Develop and manage an inter school fixtures calendar across all age groups
• Oversee team selection, coaching standards, and match preparation
• Work closely with the Director of Sport to align competitive and participation pathways
• Ensure strong communication and collaboration with the Head of Academics
• Support performance monitoring and progression pathways for student athletes
• Contribute to the development of the school’s ski race and performance sport identity
• Maintain high standards of organisation, communication, and safeguarding

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in organising and leading competitive school sport
• Strong understanding of league entry, fixtures coordination, and inter school competition structures
• Ability to manage teams, expectations, and performance standards
• Experience working with senior leaders to support academic and sporting outcomes
• Strong communication and professional skills with parents and colleagues

Preferred

• Experience teaching IB Sports, Exercise and Health Science
• International school experience
• Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection policies
