The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organised and professional individual to join our team as Headmistress’ PA, Admissions, Reception and Administration Officer. This is a pivotal role that combines high-level administrative support with responsibility for admissions, reception, and the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide confidential and professional support to the Headmistress
  • Manage admissions processes and respond to enquiries
  • Oversee reception and front-of-house responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and pupil information
  • Liaise with parents, visitors, and external agencies
  • Support the wider administrative functions of the school
  • Use the school MIS system to manage and update information
  • Ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for all visitors and staff

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven experience in a school or similar administrative setting
  • Proficient in IT and administrative systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality

Preferred

  • Experience with school MIS systems
  • Background in admissions or student administration
  • Child-centred approach and a passion for education
  • Experience in a small school environment
