The Opportunity:

A Teaching Assistant is needed to support students with social, emotional, and learning challenges, including speech and language difficulties and attention issues. Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with social, emotional, and learning challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and external professionals
• Assist in classroom organisation and lesson delivery
• Liaise with external agencies to ensure holistic care
• Support the planning and delivery of targeted interventions
• Promote inclusion and help pupils reach their full potential
• Carry out administrative tasks as required
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at grade C / grade 4 or above
• Experience in a SEND environment
• Patient, resilient, and adaptable to pupil needs
• Knowledge of supporting pupils with communication, behaviour, and learning difficulties
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Organised with attention to detail in record-keeping and planning
• Full UK Driving Licence

Preferred

• Experience working with external agencies
• Experience in a therapeutic or inclusive educational setting
• Experience with behaviour management strategies
• Experience with speech and language support
