The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced History of Art Teacher to deliver GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level revision courses during April 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to support students in their final stages of preparation for key examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality History of Art lessons tailored to GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level revision needs.
  • Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that enhance student understanding and confidence.
  • Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with other subject teachers to ensure a cohesive and supportive revision programme.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills relevant to the subject.
  • Adhere to the school’s policies, including safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall success of the revision courses.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in History of Art at GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver revision-focused lessons.
  • Experience in teaching within a school or educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering revision courses or exam preparation sessions.
  • Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., IGCSE).
  • Ability to work flexibly across short-term contracts.
  • Experience with digital teaching tools and online learning platforms.
