The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced History of Art Teacher to deliver GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level revision courses during April 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to support students in their final stages of preparation for key examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality History of Art lessons tailored to GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level revision needs.
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that enhance student understanding and confidence.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other subject teachers to ensure a cohesive and supportive revision programme.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills relevant to the subject.
- Adhere to the school’s policies, including safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall success of the revision courses.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in History of Art at GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver revision-focused lessons.
- Experience in teaching within a school or educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering revision courses or exam preparation sessions.
- Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., IGCSE).
- Ability to work flexibly across short-term contracts.
- Experience with digital teaching tools and online learning platforms.
