The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Politics Teacher to deliver high-quality revision courses for GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level students. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students preparing for key examinations. The role offers flexibility with contract options from one to two weeks during April 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and structured lessons tailored to GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level revision needs.
  • Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills relevant to Politics.
  • Monitor and assess student progress throughout the revision courses.
  • Collaborate with other subject teachers to enhance the learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and feedback.
  • Prepare and deliver revision materials that align with curriculum standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Politics at GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK and international political systems.
  • Proven ability to deliver revision-focused teaching effectively.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching revision courses or private tutoring.
  • Familiarity with exam board specifications (e.g., AQA, Edexcel, CIE).
  • Experience with digital teaching tools and online learning platforms.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel to the school location.
