The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Politics Teacher to deliver high-quality revision courses for GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level students. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students preparing for key examinations. The role offers flexibility with contract options from one to two weeks during April 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and structured lessons tailored to GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level revision needs.
- Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills relevant to Politics.
- Monitor and assess student progress throughout the revision courses.
- Collaborate with other subject teachers to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and feedback.
- Prepare and deliver revision materials that align with curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Politics at GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level.
- Strong knowledge of the UK and international political systems.
- Proven ability to deliver revision-focused teaching effectively.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching revision courses or private tutoring.
- Familiarity with exam board specifications (e.g., AQA, Edexcel, CIE).
- Experience with digital teaching tools and online learning platforms.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel to the school location.
