The Opportunity:

A Humanities Teacher is needed to deliver high-quality lessons in History, Geography, and Social Studies. This role will inspire curiosity and critical thinking in students, supporting their academic and personal growth in line with the National Curriculum for England.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Develop pupils’ understanding of history, geography, and global citizenship
• Encourage critical thinking, enquiry, and analytical skills
• Use assessment data effectively to monitor and support pupil progress
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
• Promote cross-curricular links and real-world learning experiences
• Work collaboratively within a professional and supportive team

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree in History, Geography, Humanities, or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities education
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding

Preferred

• Experience teaching within a British curriculum school
