The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in RE and History that inspire and challenge students.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through innovative teaching and learning strategies.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of a dynamic and engaging curriculum.
- Participate in and lead co-curricular activities that enhance student experience and learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and improve the quality of teaching and learning.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that supports student wellbeing and personal growth.
- Stay up to date with current educational research and best practices in teaching and learning.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (desirable but not essential)
- Experience of teaching RE and/or History
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching and learning
- Ability to maintain a positive growth mindset and work effectively in a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Energetic and motivated with a can-do attitude
Preferred
- Experience with teaching at GCSE and Post-16 levels
- Experience with digital curriculum delivery
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on leadership roles
- Experience with co-curricular activities or extracurricular engagement
