A Humanities Teacher is required for a fixed-term position until July 2026. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Humanities lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Foster positive relationships with students to support their learning and development.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the school and within the department.
- Plan and prepare engaging and effective lessons, making use of PPA time at home.
- Promote a strong Catholic ethos and contribute to the spiritual life of the school.
- Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring all pupils reach their full potential.
- Participate in the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular and pastoral activities.
- Support the school’s mission of preparing students for the future through a dynamic and inspiring curriculum.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
- Experience in teaching Humanities or a related subject.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
- Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in a Catholic school environment.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
