Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Humanities lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Foster positive relationships with students to support their learning and development.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the school and within the department.
  • Plan and prepare engaging and effective lessons, making use of PPA time at home.
  • Promote a strong Catholic ethos and contribute to the spiritual life of the school.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring all pupils reach their full potential.
  • Participate in the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular and pastoral activities.
  • Support the school’s mission of preparing students for the future through a dynamic and inspiring curriculum.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
  • Experience in teaching Humanities or a related subject.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a Catholic school environment.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
