The Opportunity:

As an IB Diploma Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and supporting students in achieving academic success through the IB Diploma Programme. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and forward-thinking educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the IB Diploma Programme across all subjects.
  • Support students in developing the skills, knowledge, and attitudes required for success in the IB Diploma Programme.
  • Collaborate with teachers, students, and parents to ensure alignment with IB learning outcomes and standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing guidance and support where needed.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Develop and deliver professional development opportunities for teaching staff to enhance IB teaching practices.
  • Ensure compliance with IB policies, procedures, and assessment requirements.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to build strong relationships and support student success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Appropriate degree with secondary education and IBDP teacher training recognized globally.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of the IB DP Curriculum.
  • Strong proficiency in English.
  • Evidence of relevant and challenging continuing professional development.
  • Experience teaching children at secondary level.
  • Understanding of child development and learning strategies.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of students.

Preferred

  • Experience in IB DP, Boarding House, or House Staff Leader roles.
  • Experience working with pupils for whom English is not their first language.
  • Strong communication and engagement skills with parents.
  • Experience in using IT effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
