The Opportunity:
As the IB DP Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in leading the implementation and development of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. This position is essential in ensuring academic excellence, supporting teachers and students, and maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation and ongoing development of the IB DP curriculum.
- Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and academic integrity across the programme.
- Support teachers in aligning instruction with IB standards and best practices.
- Facilitate communication between the school, parents, and the IB organization.
- Promote the school’s mission and values through effective leadership and collaboration.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress to ensure alignment with IB outcomes.
- Coordinate professional development opportunities for DP faculty.
- Ensure compliance with IB requirements and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the role of IB DP Coordinator.
- Strong knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and its requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage and support teaching staff effectively.
- Experience in curriculum development and academic assessment.
Preferred
- Experience in a school setting with a strong emphasis on international education.
- Familiarity with IB moderation and external assessment processes.
- Demonstrated success in fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
