The Opportunity:

As an IB MYP Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, promoting a reflective school culture, and ensuring the MYP philosophy is embedded across all aspects of the school. This is an opportunity to lead and influence curriculum design and teacher development in a dynamic international setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead the implementation of the IB Middle Years Programme across the school.
  • Work closely with teachers and school leadership to support curriculum development and assessment practices.
  • Facilitate self-study and evaluation processes in alignment with IB standards.
  • Engage parents through workshops, information sessions, and ongoing communication to build understanding of the MYP.
  • Support professional development for teachers to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Ensure consistent and authentic embedding of MYP principles in co-curricular experiences.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of MYP on student learning and progress.
  • Collaborate with external IB representatives to maintain programme standards and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Art and a recognized teaching certification.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an international school.
  • Demonstrated experience in IB-MYP or IB-DP environments.
  • Strong communication and technology skills.
  • Ability to engage with parents and teachers effectively.

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree or higher.
  • Experience in curriculum design and assessment.
  • Background in assessment for learning.
  • Leadership experience in education or school administration.
