The Opportunity:

As an Inclusion Teacher, you will support students with diverse learning needs and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum. You will play a vital role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning aligned with the curriculum and student needs
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment with a focus on student wellbeing and safeguarding
• Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Build positive partnerships with parents and colleagues
• Contribute to school initiatives and continuous improvement
• Support the implementation of inclusive teaching strategies and individualized learning plans
• Collaborate with other teachers and specialists to meet the needs of all learners
• Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity and respect

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject area
• Recognised teaching qualification and professional registration (e.g., VIT, QTS, or equivalent)
• Experience in teaching students with diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to inclusion and student wellbeing

Preferred

• Experience teaching within an international or Australian curriculum setting
• Regional experience in the UAE or similar international context
• Familiarity with the Victorian curriculum or IB Diploma Programme
• Experience in developing and implementing individualized learning plans
• Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and strategies
