Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality French lessons in line with the National Curriculum for England.
  • Inspire creativity and foster a love of French in young learners.
  • Contribute to the development of an enriched and creative curriculum programme.
  • Support students to achieve high standards in French through innovative teaching methods.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
  • Provide regular feedback and assessments to monitor student progress.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Engage with the school community and contribute to extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A B.Ed., or degree, and PGCE/PGDE or equivalent with a specialism in French/languages.
  • At least 2 years' experience teaching French within the National Curriculum for England at primary level.
  • A proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning.
  • The ability to inspire creativity and foster a love of French in young learners.
  • A mindset that believes all students can achieve high standards, with the drive to support them.

Preferred

  • Experience contributing to an enriched and creative curriculum programme.
  • Previous experience in an international school setting.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with cross-cultural collaboration and teamwork.
