Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality French lessons in line with the National Curriculum for England.
- Inspire creativity and foster a love of French in young learners.
- Contribute to the development of an enriched and creative curriculum programme.
- Support students to achieve high standards in French through innovative teaching methods.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
- Provide regular feedback and assessments to monitor student progress.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- Engage with the school community and contribute to extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A B.Ed., or degree, and PGCE/PGDE or equivalent with a specialism in French/languages.
- At least 2 years' experience teaching French within the National Curriculum for England at primary level.
- A proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning.
- The ability to inspire creativity and foster a love of French in young learners.
- A mindset that believes all students can achieve high standards, with the drive to support them.
Preferred
- Experience contributing to an enriched and creative curriculum programme.
- Previous experience in an international school setting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with cross-cultural collaboration and teamwork.
