Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging Art lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
- Foster creativity and a love of Art in young learners through innovative teaching methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to an enriched and creative curriculum programme.
- Support students in achieving high standards through differentiated instruction and individualized support.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure continuous improvement.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community to promote student learning and achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A B.Ed., or degree, and PGCE/PGDE or equivalent with a specialism in Art.
- At least 2 years' experience teaching Art within the National Curriculum for England at primary level.
- A proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning.
- The ability to inspire creativity and foster a love of Art in young learners.
- A mindset that believes all students can achieve high standards, with the drive to support them.
Preferred
- Experience contributing to an enriched and creative curriculum programme.
- Familiarity with international education standards and best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with digital tools and resources for teaching Art.
