The Opportunity:

A Learning Support Assistant is required to support pupils joining the school during the Summer Term 2026. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the academic and personal development of students through tailored learning assistance.
• Work closely with teachers to implement individualized learning plans.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to help students overcome learning challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with teaching staff.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to student support and learning programs.
• Collaborate with parents and carers to ensure consistent support for students.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A minimum of Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.
• Proven experience in supporting students to achieve their potential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and colleagues.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

• Experience in a school setting, particularly with students of similar age ranges.
• Knowledge of inclusive education practices.
• Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).
