The Opportunity:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Learning Support Tutors to join our team and provide high-quality, individualised support to pupils with learning difficulties. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and personal growth, while working in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, specialist 1:1 tuition tailored to the needs of individual pupils.
  • Support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and building confidence and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with the Prep and Secondary SENDCos to ensure alignment with school values and pupil wellbeing.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of age groups and learning needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and provide regular feedback to relevant staff.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice and support strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of inclusive learning environments that promote student success.
  • Provide flexible support during term-time, with opportunities for additional sessions during school holidays.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience in learning support.
  • Experience working with pupils with learning difficulties or special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently, with a willingness to travel within the school as required.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school setting, particularly within an independent or specialist educational environment.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student wellbeing support.
  • Familiarity with educational frameworks such as the National Curriculum or equivalent.
