Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and deliver high-quality lessons in Electrical and Electronic Engineering to a range of students
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date curriculum content aligned with T-level and vocational standards
  • Collaborate with STEM faculty and enrichment staff to create engaging and stimulating learning experiences
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through individualized tutorials and pastoral care
  • Work effectively as part of a team to enhance the overall learning experience
  • Stay current with industry developments and incorporate real-world applications into teaching
  • Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in teaching or a desire to transition from the Engineering industry into teaching
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality learning and student support
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred

  • Experience with T-level qualifications or vocational education
  • Background in curriculum development
  • Experience with modern teaching technologies and learning platforms
  • Previous experience in a college or sixth form setting
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students
