The Opportunity:

Join a dynamic team as a Sports Technician, supporting teaching and coaching across Sport and Physical Activity courses. You will manage sports facilities and equipment while contributing to student development and enrichment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support lecturers and coaches in delivering effective teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Maintain and manage sports facilities and equipment across the college.
• Liaise with lecturers and support staff across the Humanities Faculty to ensure smooth operations.
• Work closely with students to support their academic and personal development.
• Deliver workshops and enrichment activities for students and adults.
• Ensure a safe and well-maintained environment for all users of sports facilities.
• Collaborate with cross-college departments to meet operational needs.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality learning support.
• Experience with sports equipment and facilities management.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching or coaching within a college or school environment.
• Knowledge of sport and exercise science or physical activity courses.
• Experience with enrichment activities or workshop delivery.
• Familiarity with educational technology and online learning platforms.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary range of £27,533 to £28,155 per annum.
